About us
Who we are
We are a group of doctors and professionals who established Medical Charitable Society for Promising Children (acronym MCSPC) with a vision to provide free and quality healthcare and medical support to vulnerable children in Palestine. We chose to start with helping the orphans in Bethlehem since it was here the idea to a charitable society was born.
Every child has the right to enjoy the highest attainable standard of health and access to facilities for the treatment of illness and rehabilitation of health. In Palestine many families do not afford the costs and burdens of treatment and medication to their children. This due to the difficult financial circumstances which leaves many children left out from quality healthcare.
We believe it is our humanitarian, moral and societal responsibility to provide a good healthcare to all our children in Palestine, especially the vulnerable ones. From here stemmed the idea to establish a medical charitable society and we have worked hard to enable its ideas.
We still have a long way to go and therefor welcome all those who wish to cooperate or to contribute to the MCSPC.
Definition and establishment
The Medical Charitable Society for Promising Children is a non-profit organization and was founded and established in Bethlehem, Palestine year 2000. It obtained the official licence and and was officially registered in the competent department under the Law of Charitable Societies and Civil organisations No. (1) year 2000 and issued on 2021-09-15.

Mission
Free and quality healthcare to all children in Palestine.
Vision
Our vision is to offer free healtchare to palestinian children all around Palestine. In order to realize our vision, we want to start by establishing specialized medical centers all around Palestine, where different kinds of medical treatment will be found. Everything will be located in one medical center; surgery, cardiology, oncology, rehabilitation, pediatrics, pharmacy, laboratory, opticians, dental health care etc. Palestinian children will not have to visit different clinics and hospitals from place to place in order to find their medical treatment. Instead they pay a visit to one clinic and there they will be cared for by a professional team of doctors during the whole treatment process. Our vision is that this specialized medical center will offer free and quality healthcare to vulnerable children and families with low income or no income at all.
Goals year 2022-2023
In Bethlehem alone there are about 1350 oprhans and our goals for year 2023 is to:
1. Provide free healthcare and medical care to to 350 orphans whom are under the age of 15 in Bethlehem. This through the network of medical practioners with various medical specialties where they can provide for example free medicine, examination, surgery, medical treatment, rehabiliation etc.
2. Raising awareness about health and wellbeing in the community through offering acitivities such as free educational lectures and workshops.
3. Developing health and treatment services through agreements, cooperations, and partnerships between the society and other local and international health institutions.

Vision
Our vision is to offer free healtchare to palestinian children all around Palestine. Our vision is that this specialized medical center will offer free and quality healthcare to vulnerable children and families with low income or no income at all.
Goals year 2022-2023

Our network
The Medical Charitable Society for Promising Children have signed many agreements with different practioners, doctors, speciaists from various clinics. Every child with the MCSPC ID will not be charged for any examination or treatment since they are 100 % free. All the costs are coveraged through the clinic in agreement with the MCSPC network.
1. These medical specialties offer free of charge examinations:
Pediatrics and Neonatology, Cardiologist, orthopedic specialist, Nose and Throat Specialist, Specialists in General Surgery, Ophthalmologist, Urology specialist, Endocrinologist and Diabetologist, General Medicine, Specialist in Psychiatry and Neurology.
2. Specialist in Dental Medicine and Surgery including normal extractions, extractions and nerve treatment are free of charge for the MCSPC ID-holder. orthodontics 50%
3. Hospitals:
Caritas Children's Hospital - Bethlehem - outpatient clinics - laboratory tests - x-rays - 100% free.
Maslamani Hospital - Beit Sahour - Emergency Department, which includes emergency cases - 100% free of charge.
4. Medical centres: The Child & Family Counseling Center - Hayat Specialized Clinics Center - Eastern Countryside Center - Friendship Medical Center – al hekma medical center – batter medical center - hindaza medical center -dar salah ( bet almaqdes )medical center - zaina medical center - zatara medical center/100% emergency coverage
5. Physiotherapy centers for post-fracture and surgeries: Selena Care Physiotherapy Center - Thweib Physiotherapy Center – celena care Physiotherapy Center 100% coverage of the costs of sessions.
6. Prosthetic limbs:
Dr. Saber Abu Shaira Center for Prosthetics - Covering costs for all prosthetics and Flat feet100%.
7. Opticians and eyeglasses: Al Jamila Optical Center - Roma Optical Center - Karim Optical Center - bit al noor center / coverage of the costs of eyeglasses and corneal examination 100%.
8. Electroencephalogram (EEG): Neuroscience Center for EEG - 100% coverage of children's EEG costs.
echocardiography: 50% coverage and 100% cardiologist examination coverage.
9. For radiography, tomography and magnetic resonance imaging:
Hawas For Audiology and Speech Pathology center -cost price only
surgeries: In agreement with the Zakat Central Committee, the operating room costs will be covered with a ceiling price of more than 1,700 NIS for urgent sick cases that are not available in the centers of the Palestinian Ministry of Health and according to the recommendations of the medical committee in the Society.
11. Pharmacies:
There was agreement with nearly 14 pharmacies that the medicine would be given to orphaned children at the cost price only, and it was agreed with the Zakat Central Committee to cover the costs of the medicine (cost price), and thus the medicine would be covered by 100%.

12. A contract was made with the Syndicate of Laboratory Medicine - Bethlehem, so that the contract included: Performing the four basic medical examinations for orphaned children 100% free of charge, including a blood test - urine - diabetes - infection rate. A 20% discount on all other medical examinations.
13. The medical laboratories that were contracted with are: Bethlehem Modern Laboratories - Za'tara Center - Ibn Sina - Top Lab - Auda - Al Nokhba - Beit Al-Maqdis -.sewss medical laboratories - AL caritas hospital laboratories
